ROOTS. Social mini series by Syoss with Kiyoko Odo.
Kiyoko Odo, hair stylist working for brands and fashion shows like JW Anderson, Dazed or Acne,
is now the global ambassador of Syoss.
To promote the new collab, ROOTS was born: a social mini-documentary series of 5 episodes, where unveil who she is, what is her story, her personality, and what are the new creative pursuits coming from the collaboration with Syoss. For the aesthetic of the documentary, we chose to combine the punk spirit of Kiyoko’s personality with the black coded and premium world of Syoss.
The magic I brought to the table 🥖 🎀:
Tone of visual for the mini series (look and feel, must have shots, title card art direction). Concepting each episode structure and series evolution. Art Direction supervision during post production. Creating additional social content that sustains the mini series. (ex: an educational format with Kiyoko revealing expert tips: from Roots to Tips.)
